S’East coalition flays ACF over attack on Ndigbo
The South-East Self-Determination Coalition (SESDC) has flayed a chieftain of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Junaid Mohammed, for insulting Igbo people.
In a statement by its leader, Elliot Uko, SESDC condemned the rude and ill advised vituperations of Junaid, who it described as “a rabid Igbo hater”, with his insult to Ndigbo.
Citing an interview the ACF chieftain granted to a national daily last weekend, the group recalled that Junaid shockingly asserted that the Igbo would accept money even from the Devil and that they were people without honour who don’t believe in anything.
SESDC further recalled that he (Junaid) averred in an earlier interview that Igbo people marry very late because they can’t afford it out of poverty.
The statement reads further: “He has consistently denigrated the great Igbo nation of over 40 million people, thereby confirming his phobia for hard WORK
, excellence, industry, education and success which Ndigbo epitomise both to fellow Nigerians and foreigners alike.

“Junaid Mohammed needs to be reminded that rabble rousers like him have no place anymore in the emerging Nigeria. His frustrations are a confirmation that the warmongers in the North, those with the born-to-rule mentally, have become a tiny minority.
