Council boss pledges priority to people’s welfare

CHAIRMAN of Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chuks Oseme, has promised to accord priority attention to the wellbeing of the people of the area.
He gave the assurance during his victory reception held in Asaba, promising that in the next THREE years, he would improve the urbanisation of the local council. Oseme urged the people of the council area to bring their wealth of experience in assisting his administration.

While promising that his tenure would be characterized by open door policy where indigenes would be able to advice government, he said by the time his tenure ends, when the people would look at the area in generality, they would be impressed that they too are at the millennium age of the urbanization.
The chairman expressed gratitude to the people of the area for the support and their prayer during the election, just as he sued for more cooperation to enable him deliver the dividend of democracy.
Oseme also promised to key into the policy of the state government’s Delta Beyond Oil, adding that more attention would be giving to youth empowerment to keep them out of the street.
