Italian Side WILLING To Complete £100-A-Week Deal With Arsenal

According to reports, Seria A outfit Fiorentina are prepared to take Arsenal winger Theo Walcott on loan in the January transfer window. This much has been confirmed by the player’s agent who was quoted as saying;
“Theo is liked by a lot of teams and it’s likely there’s interest from Fiorentina.
“I have a great relationship with that club, I respect and admire their leaders. I just don’t think there is an opportunity to see Walcott in Florence.
“I don’t think that Fiorentina have the MONEY to get him. I think it’s an almost impossible deal for them and I was never contacted by them about Theo.”

Vincenzo Montella’s side is currently benefiting from the loan system with Manchester City and England defender Micah Richards who is spending the last year of his contract in Italy.
They are prepared to offer Theo Walcott a chance to play regular first team football come the January transfer window following his difficulty to break into the team since his return to fitness.
The England international was recently recalled to the national team fold for the first time in over a year, however his path to regular first team football has been blocked by the form of Oxlade-Chamberlain who has stepped up his GAME in recent weeks. Although, he looked sharp in his first appearance against Burnley since his injury, it was a cameo that lasted for nine minutes.
Arsene Wenger has delayed thrusting Walcott back into the first team picture because Alexis Sanchez and the aforementioned Oxlade-Chamberlain have been in good form, and they have continually done a enough to retain their shirt in the side.
There are indications that Arsenal’s abundance of players in the attacking third is what is strengthening Fiorentina’s hand to push for a loan deal. The Florence based club believes Arsenal have enough cover in the wide areas to mitigate the departure of Theo Walcott. The likes of Santi Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez, Lukas Podolski, Tomas Rosicky and Serge Gnabry are some of the players that can play in the wide areas. The Italian outfit is willing to meet Theo Walcott’s weekly wage he is on at Arsenal.
This report should be dismissed in it entirety despite what the conjectures are in respect of what they are willing to offer Theo Walcott. The only way such a move would have been possible is if Fiorentina can offer Arsenal what would practically amount to a crazy MONEY. But Italian clubs lacks the capacity to carry out huge transfers as they do not have the financial muscle to pull off deals of that nature.
While this report is ridiculous is that Fiorentina would be a huge step down for Theo Walcott. He is at a top club, and he would have increased his legendary status in the last nine months if not for the knee ligament injury that he suffered in January.
Besides, Arsene Wenger is very unlikely to give in to such an offer. Theo Walcott might have been out injured for a long time, but he is a key player in the team’s armoury. It is no wonder that they were reports a couple of days ago that the club are looking to open contract talks with him with a view to extend his contract beyond 2016.
The club has overcome it dark past of selling it key players, something that was common place during the period of austerity from the club. Theo Walcott is just 25 years, and he is coming into his peak years as a winger/forward, and with a contract extension coming forth, he would be spending those peak years in North London.
