My focus is on Congo, S’Africa – Keshi

Recalled Super Eagles Head coach, Stephen Keshi, focus is on the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Congo away and South Africa in Uyo, even as he commences preparation for the international friendly against Ghana in Uyo on Saturday.
Super Eagles, which  places third in group A with four points, needs to win its remaining two matches to be guaranteed a spot at the finals of the Africa Ci[p of Nations holding in Morocco next January.


Eagles will play Congo November 15 away before South Africa four days later in Uyo.
Keshi, who spoke through the team’s Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, noted that players needed for the prosecution of these important matches were not lacking.
“We have the players who can do Nigeria proud in the remaining qualifier games and I know somehow we will make to the finals and retain our trophy,” Keshi said.
The coach, who said he was honoured to be recalled, named 25 home-based for the friendly against Ghana in Uyo.
The team will commence preparation today for the friendly in Uyo.
