Nigerian schoolgirls will be released 'by Tuesday'

Nigeria aims to have around 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Islamist Boko Haram militants freed by Tuesday "at the latest", according to a senior source at the presidency.

The militant group and the Nigerian government are said to have reached an immediate ceasefire and are expected to release the girls as part of the deal.
