Real Madrid, Tottenham battle over Kramer

Real Madrid has joined Tottenham in the race for German midfielder Christoph Kramer, according to reports in Spain.
Kramer has been on the radar of several clubs since appearing and impressing for Germany at last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
Tottenham is reportedly leading the chase for the 23-year-old, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach from fellow Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.

But now, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, Los Blancos have stepped up their interest in Kramer after scouting him this season.
He endured a nightmare moment at the weekend, netting a long-range own goal to gift Borussia Dortmund a 1-0 victory, but he has been highly impressive for Monchengladbach this season, who sit third in the Bundesliga after their first defeat of the campaign.
Leverkusen is keen for the promising midfielder to return to them next summer, but the team could be tempted into a deal for the midfield ace if the team receive bids of over £15million.
