This is what they said ...

- "It is not a secret that wherever the players play, be it Bloemfontein or Durban, they have a girlfriend for every away match." - Orlando Pirates boss Irvin Khoza during an interview after the death of the club's goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, who had an extramarital affair with songstress Kelly Khumalo.
- "It's not 100% but it's there. SABC is the best employer. No one can compare themselves with the SABC." - The public broadcaster's COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng defending the SABC and his position.
- "I believe that we can only become a better people if religion could be allowed to influence the laws that govern our daily lives, starting with the constitution of any country." - Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng sharing his vision for the judiciary with University of Stellenbosch students.
