The presiding Magistrate, Adesoji Adegboye, ordered that the four be remanded in custody till the legal advice of the ministry is given to the prosecutors.

Aderiye, 58, who was not a blood relation with the remanded RTEAN chairman, was murdered on September 25 by suspected assassins at Ijigbo area of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
Those remanded along with the chairman were Sola Durodola, Kayode Ajayi and Oso Farotimi.
At yesterday’s proceeding, counsel to the defendants, Fred Izuange and Yemi Ogunremi, raised objections that the name of the person alleged to have been murdered was not expressly stated in the charge sheet, their pleas were not taken as the case involved murder.
Replying to the objection, the police prosecutors, Samson Osobu and Sunday Nawachekwa, told the court that the case file had been duplicated and forwarded to the state Ministry of Justice for legal advice.
The offence, according to the charge sheet, was punishable according to section 324 and 319 of Criminal Code Law Cap C16, Laws of Ekiti State.
The magistrate said the case would continue as soon as the Ministry of Justice gives the advice sought by the prosecutors.
