Nasir El- rufai joins Kaduna gov race

The long expected declaration of the former Minister of  FCT Mallam EL-Rufai took place Monday in Kaduna with many APC stalwarts in attendance including General Muhammadu Buhari.

Mallam El-Rufai who said he had consulted widely with people; with traditional rulers, respected elders and public officials that can speak out as well as ordinary people who have no voice but rely on someone to speak for them, reassured the people that he would move the state from where people live in mutual suspicion, where few people feel safe or secure and where nothing gets done.

According to him, ‘’It is disheartening that Kaduna State which used to be a melting pot of religions, cultures and industry has become a battlefield of ethnic and religious divisions due to incessant conflicts, denial of opportunities and relentless narrowing of the space for political freedom and expression.

Gen. Muhammad Buhari, a presidential aspirant on the platform of APC  also present at the occasion advised the people to make sure they get permanent voters card stressing that all efforts that they have made would be for nothing if the people failed to get voters card.
