Since the advent of democracy in Nigeria, we have seen a troubling shift away from traditional occupations such as agriculture and craftsmanship. Instead, the political elite have asserted dominance over the country’s natural resources, particularly crude oil, which has led to significant mismanagement and corruption. This has resulted in a myriad of socio-economic issues that plague the nation today.

Fashola presents 2015 budget to lawmakers today

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, will today present the 2015 budget estimates to members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, at the legislative chambers, Alausa, Ikeja, by 10am.
This was contained in a statement issued at the weekend by the information unit of the House, signed by the unit’s head, Bola Lambo.
