2 lawyers in court over forgery of dead man’s will

The LAWYERShttps://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/I0eLTIGjJLetDxXeWSc7FweNg4xIPLK9XRuVc9e-TMdGYDVv48QZKuJ9iUNaUlfvzEgqwHaBJHXqZi428xMtbRaFkq8q7vec3dJmZV01Vrg are Samuel Urhoghide,75, and  Mercy Sheidum,46.
They were charged along with Jona Sojah, 50, before an Oredo Magistrate Court in Benin.
According to the prosecution, the three persons forged a testamentary instrument purported to have been made by Sheidum’s husband, the late Kolawole.
The prosecution submitted that the accused conspired to commit the forgery in 1997 on the Murtala Mohammed Way, Benin.

According to the prosecution, the offences contravened Sections 516 and 467 (2) (f) of the Criminal Code of Edo.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.

The magistrate adjourned the case till Nov. 2, for mention.
